Greeting from director of ITA
ITA is conducting research and education which focus on unique issue in Tropics. Through research and educational activities ITA tackles to international cooperation for developing countries, construction of international network among researchers and collection of specimen and research samples.
Introduction of ITA
ITA is one of the centers for common education and research established in 1975. Our mission is to contribute pure research related to agriculture and environment in Tropics including forestry, biology, entomology, horticulture, soil and water engineering. Our faculty members take charge of graduate school education in graduate school of Bioresources and Bioenvironmental sciences and graduate school of Integrated Sciences for Global Society. Moreover, we contribute international cooperation through research and educational activities.
